Valentina Carriero is a PhD student in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Bologna (Italy), under the supervision of Dr. Valentina Presutti. Her PhD project focuses on extracting Ontology Design Patterns reused in existing ontologies, in order to support interoperability and ontology reuse. Her research interests include Semantic Web, Ontology Design and Linked Open Data. In March 2017, she earned a master’s degree in Italian studies and Linguistics at the University of Bologna, and between 2017 and 2019 she worked as a research assistant at the Semantic Technology Laboratory of the Italian National Research Council (CNR).
